There are many great and interesting small batch BBQ food products being produced and these guys have them all. If they hear good things about a new product, they’ll get it in right away and add it to the long list they already have. They even carry my products! The great selection along with their great customer service has produced a thriving business with a loyal customer base. They are the best by far.
The Smoked Pork Loin recipe that I'm sharing here is inspired by one from Hawgeyes BBQ in Ankeny, Iowa. Mike and Bret are good friends, great cooks and they run the absolute best website for BBQ sauces, rubs and tools. The pork loin recipe they used to help them win the prestigious World Pork Expos' "Barbeqlossal" in 1999 is a good one and Mike was generous enough to guide me to a reasonable facsimile for the book.
